How to get along with a stupid person who considers herself smart?

I think by your post you ARE a very intelligent person,,and it is always irritating for someone who is arrogant,,and self promoting..You know of course,,if some one is intelligent,,it is never necessary to promote their intelligence..It speaks for itself.. This person is trying to impress YOU.. Believe it or not.. However the fact you ARE living in her house at this time,,even though you pay a indeed proper amount of money for that residency,,you must try to contain your displeasure because of her arrogance..Also Japan is indeed a world market power,,and as such,,one SHOULD realize,,there are good reasons WHY Japan occupies that status..Intelligence is definitely part of that reason..You should look to the future,,and the time when this experience will be behind you and YOU will move on to bigger and better things and your future,, She on the other hand,, will be as she is living where she does,,and watching jeopardy,, for the rest of her life..
