Want to be a shrink but i just want the money, not the grief of worrying?

I'm thinkin of becoming some sort of shrink in a few yrs. I dont want to get all messed up and emotional with patents though. I just wanta listen and get my cash and forget about them when they shut the door, i dont want to be worried about them or something. Afterall its just a job like washing the dishes , right? The patent pays you, you listen and say ahem ahem, mmmm. Thats what my shrink did for me n i had to pay up 70 quid for the privilage. It looks like a real money spinning game though. How do you do it and just shut off from any horrible stories? I presume you dont really (be honest pleaes) give a crap at the end of the day as patients are not friends n family and you see them as work n money?
