What's the best 'route' to get to Israel...?

from what I've heard with a stamp/visa of Arab countries (Leb, Syria etc) it's still possible to enter Israel, but not the other way around so I know the Arab countries will have to be the first destination and then Israel... What is the least problematic way to go from Lebanon, to Israel... if that is possible? Through Cyprus? Egypt? and if the pport with which will have Israeli stamps on it expires and I get a new one, there won't be problems re-entering Lebanon/other Arabic countries, yes?
