pads? Good idea?

Depending on what kind of pad you get depends on how much padding you get from it. Honestly i don't like them, yeah they help a lil but i have trouble with them sliding back and not keeping tight on my horse. I have mine rigged (when i use it, *never*) but yeah i hooked a brest collar on it with a curb chain and a girth. lol Yes Will indeed improve your riding. it gives you the balance that you would not think of using while having a saddle on. Helps a lot. Very rarely will i even put a saddle on. But i would say if you can help it don't waste your money on a pad, and if you do get one, check ebay. they have pretty cheap and good quality ones on there.
