Impacted Wisdom Teeth and Canker sores?

Its been exactly one week since I got my impacted wisdom teeth removed. All the noticeable swelling is gone, but on my right side the gums and inside wall are still slightly swollen, is this normal? Also I developed a huge canker sore right under my tongue, what can I do the pain is dreadful!
