Is my Belly Ring too thin??

I just got my belly pierced around 10days ago, its healing fine, doesnt hurt or nethng. But i juz went for some belly ring shopping and realized that my belly ring is perhaps too thin. The ring the piercing guy used id as thin as the one u use to get your nose pierced. How m i suppose to push that thick ring into my piercing??
